Overview: What UECodeAgent Can Do
UECodeAgent is a Windows desktop app: an AI chat with any model via your own API keys, plus an autonomous agent that writes and fixes Unreal Engine C++ plugins. The top bar has three tabs: «Chat», «Workspace», «Notes». The «Documentation» button in the left sidebar (right below «Settings») opens the built-in guide and is available in every tab.
The «Chat» tab
A full-featured AI client: multiple conversations, streaming replies, Markdown with code highlighting, screenshots via Ctrl+V, attachments, web search, message editing, and the «Add to notes» button.
The «Workspace» tab
The agent's workspace for UE plugins and projects (.uplugin / .uproject): a file tree, a built-in code editor (Monaco, the VS Code engine), and an agent that reads files, applies edits, builds the plugin via RunUAT and fixes compile errors until the build succeeds.
Workspace tools: «Build plugin», «UE versions» (build matrix), «UE5 code audit», «UE5 C++ class wizard», «Fix version guards», checkpoints with rollback.
The «Notes» tab
Conversation notes: add any message from «Chat» or Workspace via «📌 Add to notes», create notes manually, search and sort.
Documentation
The «Documentation» button in the left sidebar opens the built-in guide with search and an offline copy — no need to open the website.
