The «Chat» Tab

Conversations (left panel)

  • New chat — button at the top of the sidebar.
  • Search — live filtering of conversations by title and message text.
  • Hover a conversation: ✏️ rename, 🗑 delete (with confirmation, if enabled).
  • Agent sessions are marked with a folder icon.

Input field

  • Enter — send, Shift+Enter — new line.
  • Ctrl+V — paste a screenshot from the clipboard.
  • 📎 — attach files/pictures.
  • Ctrl+F — search inside the conversation (Enter — next match, Esc — close).
  • «Web search» — toggle: the model will be able to search the web and open pages.

During and after the reply

  • The reply streams in; the Stop button aborts generation.
  • Reasoning — an expandable block with the model's thinking (if the model provides it).
  • Message actions: copy, copy with attachments, reuse in the input, delete, edit («Save and send»).
  • Code blocks have a copy code button.
  • 📌 Add to notes — save the message to the conversation's notes.

Context & tokens

  • The counter shows approximate token usage, the model limit and the cache share (💾 cache N%).
  • Compress dialog — summarizes the history into a compact resume and clears the context (saves tokens; cannot be undone).
  • Auto-compression (enabled in settings) does the same automatically at 60% context usage.

Clearing

Clear chat removes the entire history of the current conversation (with confirmation).
